Ways PHWC Can Help
Join Our ATO Volunteer SIG — Make a Difference!
The Assist the Officer (ATO) Foundation needs helping hands throughout the year, and there is a place for every member who wants to support our first responders in a personal and meaningful way.
Volunteer opportunities include:
Serving at memorial events
Assisting with fundraising activities
Assembling hospital comfort bags for injured first responders
Preparing and delivering snacks to fire and police stations
Sign up for the ATO Volunteer SIG when you register, or update your member profile and select the ATO SIG.
Prepare Snacks for Fire Stations & Police Stations
Our police officers and firefighters in South Dallas could use a little extra appreciation.
We’re organizing volunteers to provide treats—such as cookies, trail mix, cupcakes, muffins, or other snacks—that first responders can enjoy during long shifts or while completing reports.
We plan to deliver treats to a different fire or police station every week or two as a small way of saying thank you for their service.
If you would like to bake, donate snacks, help with deliveries, or participate in any way, please contact Marie McCoy. We’d love to have you join us as we spread a little kindness to those who give so much to our community.
